Description
The story of Apawamis Club started in 1890, and the club is proud to share the stories it witnessed ever since then: there are generations of families who maintain their membership at the club, as well as love stories featured on the club’s official website. All of that gives the club some sort of nostalgic, family-oriented and friendly atmosphere, while also maintaining an aura of a privileged membership-owned establishment, offering first-class services to its members. Members are expected to stick to the dress code and limit the use of cell phones on the club’s territory.
The course itself is an 18-hole round with a yardage of 6741, a rating of 73.4 and a slope of 146. The course requires accuracy and careful planning, as small greens present a challenge even for experienced players. As Hogan once said, the course at Apawamis is “the toughest short golf course I have ever played”.
Golf facilities include a practice putting green, a driving range, and the indoor Golf Performance Center aimed at the improvement of certain aspects of game and pre-game warm-ups. Additionally, guests and members can enjoy squash, tennis and paddle tennis courts, if they ever find themselves tired of golfing.
The membership inquiries can be made on the official website: the details are provided in the “Guest Information” section.
