Description

The Seven Oaks Golf Club dates its history back to 1917 with a group of golf enthusiasts, who established the first nine-hole course behind Colgate University – hence the name of the club. This layout was lately redesigned by famous golf course architect Thomas Winton back in 1927, and the current shape of the grounds still resembles those from the previous century.

The course itself is located on the territory of Colgate University Campus, surrounded by the green terrace and valleys. Tree areas and greens are strategically incorporated into the course layout, which forces players to plan and think about their rounds in advance, offering challenges even for the most experienced golfers.

Reservations can be made online – and they are cheaper this way because walk-ins and phone bookings charge higher rates. Prices start from 70$ for 18 holes and transportation included, but if you don’t mind walking then you might find lower rates.

For those who wish to polish their golfing skills, Practice Facility is also available – there are virtual e-range golf simulators to help you learn how to keep a hold on your swings and qualified coaches. Club also offers opportunities to host your gold outings on its territory, so if your gold partners are looking for a good place to hold a tournament, this might be just the right place.
