Paramount Country Club

Situated just 35 minutes away from Manhattan, Paramount is a family-friendly private country club, where you can engage in golfing and other social activities. What makes this place unique is the overall scenery: you’ll be able to enjoy magnificent backdrops of rolling hills, woodlands, emerald green fairways and expertly maintained greens on the 200 acres of land.

The 18-hole course was designed by A.W. Tillinghast and it’s only natural that it has received so many accolades over the years: it has been recognized as one of the Best Classic Courses by Golf Week and was included in the Confidential Guide by Tom Doak. Currently, it measures over 6,700 yards from the tips (130 slope) and requires a good understanding of the course management due to the abundance of elevated greens. The club’s head professional is Jason Peterson, PGA and an accomplished instructor certified with Titleist Performance Institute.

Additional facilities include 10 Har-Tru tennis courts and 2 hard-surfaced courts for racquet games, and you can soak in the aquatic complex afterwards, including an oversized pool, a children’s pool and a lounge area.
