Description

The Old Oaks Country Club’s special feature lies in its unique course, which is the result of a rare collaboration between two prominent architects – A. W. Tillinghast and C. H. Alison. Originally it was a 27-hole design, but only 18 holes remain stretched on the 6900 yards of land since others had been lost due to the construction of the road nearby.

The main course is complimented by two full grass driving ranges and practice areas for pregame warm-ups and lessons: one of them is a 3-acre short game area, which is a part of the most recent construction project in 2016.

One of the club’s advantages is an indoor practice facility, which makes it possible for members to enjoy golfing year-round. This area is also great for those who wish to polish their skills in every aspect of the game or has just started to learn: the 3000-square foot space is equipped with launch monitors, a putting green, a chipping area and a comfortable lounge with a TV.

The dining services of the club deserve an honourable mention since members can spend their time eating and socializing in 9 richly-furnished areas of the clubhouse (which looks like a fairytale villa, by the way).

The membership policy is not clearly stated on the website. Still, Old Oaks is considered a “premier member-owned private country club”, so you’ll probably have to get an invitation first.
