The award-winning championship golf course at Leatherstocking was designed by the famous Devereux Emmet in 1909 and is currently considered to be one of the most challenging and picturesque courses in Upstate New York – or perhaps on the whole East Coast. The 18-hole course is harmoniously engraved into the outlet of the Otsego Lake and features diverse elevations, fairways, long greens and some quirky bunkers, the last being Emmet’s signature element. Experienced players or amateurs, bad scores or good ones – this course will be suitable for anyone. Playing from the back tees will ensure you a round of 6,401 yards with a course rating of 71.0 and a slope rating of 133.

The greens fees per day are also affordable, as the prices start from 102$ (you can save a lot of money if you play after midnight). The best prices are naturally offered to Otesaga Resort guests, so you might consider combining a round of golf with a nice weekend at the hotel. Moreover, Otesaga offers a special Golf Package, which includes luxurious accommodations at the resort, unlimited golf, discounts at the Pro Shop and many other bonuses.

Golf carts and club rental is also available, with prices starting from 23$ for a cart and 60$ for a club (+3 balls), taxes included. Please note that this course is not membership-based, so you can book your tee times freely on the website.
