Description
Located in Queensbury, the Glen Falls Country Club is a private member-owned establishment providing top-class golf and entertainment facilities for its members since 1912. The 18-hole course was designed by Donald Ross, and according to golf connoisseurs the layout at the Glen Falls is one of Ross’ “top 10 designs”.
Currently, course length equals 6432 yards with a slope of 133 and a rating of 71.2. The golfing season usually starts in April and closes in the middle of November. While the “wickedly green” course with an exquisite routing around the centre hill may seem challenging for amateurs, there are practice facilities for those who want to get comfortable with the club first: members can access the driving range, bunkers, pitching and chipping areas, putting greens and receive instructions from the team of the Glen Falls’ professionals, led by PGA golfer Tom Haggerty.
Membership inquiries can be made online, and you can choose from a variety of options: there are Social Membership (full access to all activities, but not golf), Golf Membership (same as Social, but with golfing privileges), Family Social/Single Golf Membership and Non-Residential type of memberships.
