The course at the Fenway Golf Club is of A. W. Tillinghast’s classical design, featuring sloping greens bunkers and quirky landing areas, which seriously contribute to the difficulty level – so it is safe to assume that the course was not designed with amateurs in mind. But according to reviews, this course presents one of the best green complexes in the USA with no week holes.

This 18-hole course plays 6706 yards in length, with a rating of 73.5 and a slope of 140: members can enjoy it from the beginning of April till early November, while the golf season lasts. During this season Fenway hosts its own Mittelmark Invitational Tournament in August for the most accomplished amateurs to test their skills against the Fenway terrain.

Practice facilities are available and include pitching and chipping areas. Members can request instructions from the club’s teaching professionals as well.

The club facilities are available only to members, so arrangements must be made in advance. Aside from the unlimited access to golf, additional amenities include racquet sport courts (8 Har-Tru tennis courts), a pool, bar, terrace, billiard and a patio.
