Many say that the popularity of the Cherry Valley Club is overshadowed by the neighbouring golf club in the Garden City, but the local 18-hole golf course, set in a soothing green landscape, was also designed by two famous golf course architects – Walter Travis and Devereux Emmet. Their style is recognizable in bunkering and putting surfaces, but in general, the difficulty of the course is rated as average – so it is suitable for both professionals and amateurs.
The atmosphere of the club can be described as “relaxed” and family-oriented: studying the reviews, you can see that the club’s facilities are often used for weddings and family gatherings. The additional services and facilities of the club are also impressive: members can play tennis at six red clay courts and four platform tennis courts and relax in the renovated clubhouse for casual dining. Add the regular closed events to the list of perks – and you will understand why the club is so popular with family people who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the pastoral landscape.
For questions about membership, you should contact the club’s manager (info can be found on the official website). There are several categories of membership aimed at players of different ages, so you’ll certainly find the right one for your needs.
